“This Machine” has a groove that is immediately intense and rousing. The lead vocals are rough with a little vulnerable edge. The lyrics are poignant through, what can only be described as, genuine songwriting with lines like, “Machine don’t run on gasoline/ it’s fueled by heartache rhythm and blues.” Not only does this song set tell a great story, but it also serves as a testament to what this band is all about – authentic roots based music.
